How to select a qualified thermos cup? Just follow me!

Although the thermos cup is useful, it can not be filled with everything, and it may cause hidden dangers if you are not careful! Of course, if you want to use the thermos cup safely, in addition to figuring out who it is used for, you must also choose qualified and healthy products, so how do we choose? Here are 3 tips you can use:

  1. Look at the imprint: identify the material of the inner tank

The inner tank material of the thermos flask is generally made of stainless steel. At present, there are the following 3 common stainless steel materials on the market, which can be identified by the imprint on the bottle mouth or inner tank:

201 stainless steel: is industrial grade stainless steel, corrosion resistance deteriorates, can not resist acidic solution at all, even in water, there will be rust spots, so it is not recommended to buy.

304 stainless steel: is recognized as food grade stainless steel, processing performance and corrosion resistance is relatively good, generally the bottle mouth or inner tank will have SUS304, S304XX, 304, 18/8, 18-8 and other marks.

316 stainless steel: is medical grade stainless steel, corrosion resistance is better than 304 stainless steel, but the price is a little higher, generally the bottle mouth or inner tank will have US316, S316XX and other marks.

  1. Touch the bottom: check the thermal insulation performance

We can fill the thermos cup with boiling water and screw the lid tightly, about 2~3 minutes later, touch the outside of the cup body with your hand, if you find a warm feeling, it indicates that the thermos cup has lost the vacuum layer, and the insulation effect of the inner tank is not good.

  1. Pour down:checkthe tightness

We can fill the thermos flask with boiling water and screw the lid tightly, and then turn it upside down for five minutes, if the thermos flask leaks, it indicates that it is not well sealed.
